Clients will reach out and schedule a free consultation or book an appointment if they’re ready to start working. For appointments, they will schedule their intake and Kate will send them an intake form to sign electronically, and an appointment confirmation via google calendar with instructions for meeting in person or virtually.

Kate has an associate’s license and the state of Texas does not allow her to take insurance with an independent practice. Because of this she offers a low rate and a sliding scale. She will most likely start accepting insurance in 2026.

Know that your treatment is in your hands and that no one knows more about you than you, even if they know a lot about therapy. Pay attention to how the counselor is treating you before the appointment begins. While the decision to start therapy may be out of your comfort zone, you should start to feel comfortable with your counselor in the first session.

The farm where Kate practices is a private property, and the address is not given out until you fill out your paperwork. It is easily accessed in Fannett, TX, 15 minutes outside of Beaumont and an hour (plus) East of Houston.
