Inclement Weather is Bound to Happen

For COWnseling, cow cuddling, and nature therapy, the weather can certainly affect our ability to enjoy our time on the farm. When you choose me as your counselor you are choosing a counselor that has a half-virtual practice and acknowledging that there are limitations with the current outdoor space which will make it hard to meet in person and continue therapeutic goals in bad weather.

Inclement weather includes the following:

• Rain
• Flooding
• Cyclones/Hurricanes
• Snow
• Ice
• Storms
• Extreme heat
• Extreme cold

I will give you at least 1 hour notice before our session in the form of a text or email. Depending on the type of weather, I may notify you of the potential of cancelling, but leave it up to you or let you know my final decision within up to one hour of the actual event time.

In inclement weather we will transfer your session to a virtual video meeting over google meet.

I will send you the link via email. Our sessions will be moved to virtual so that we can keep continuity of therapeutic goals, and because I have limited availability with which to reschedule. If you choose to cancel instead of moving session to virtual, it will be considered a late cancellation and will be charged the $40 fee.
